Papa’s Choice
You learned the art of listening prayer,
To tune in to God’s station
And here His sweet voice,
His call to every nation.
When the air becomes dry and weary,
I can tell you He never leaves you;
In fact, He cleaves to you with passion,
Holy reference to your identity, ’tis true.
Take heart my brethren!
The days may grow dark,
The nights cold and distant,
Yet you belong to His covenant ark.
Press in! Press deeper!
Abba has much more to divulge,
And you know His sweet voice,
The words come in a deluge!
So listen, listen to the whispers,
The words of a Father who loves you,
Who desires the best for your lives
And will drive away all pain so blue.
Yes, turn UP the volume!
Go forth, forward and onward in the King,
None of the enemies’ plans shall prosper
For victory has come and taken Hell’s sting!
Turn UP the volume!
Listen to His voice
And let Heaven’s words be heard
For you lie as Papa’s choice!
