Holy Spirit Moves
Open our hearts
To Holy Spirit moves,
For He wishes to deepen
Your precious heart grooves
And allow joy, peace, patience–
All His fruits flow even more
With Love the essential
And deepest core.
So, waves of grace and mercy
Crash into the highest walls
To begin a new work
Under Christ’s waterfalls
Of redemption, grace, hope–
Where we let go and let Him
Flow through, clear the junk,
And allow us to sing a new hymn.
The acoustics of our lives
Reach a fever pitch,
As we begin to see the unseen
Out of our boxes, a seamless stitch;
Now, whispers amplify in volume
To become mighty war cries
When the men and women of God
Come alive to stand and rise!
Yes, open our hearts
To Holy Spirit moves,
For He desires much more
As all Truth He proves,
When you inhale God’s breath
Of life, grace, love,
His presence, and essence
Fill your lungs from above!
