Dear readers,
In recent days, I asked friends if they would want a poem of encouragement, edification, prophecy and what not…lo and behold, quite a few wanted one. So, the poems I will post over the next few weeks will be the poems I wrote for friends (indicated by the for ‘their name’). Now, if anyone else who comes across these posts, would like one as well, then please comment or e-mail me with your name and how I can get the copy to you. I will also post it on the blog eventually. What say you?

The Mustard Seed
The Mustard Seed
Simple Faith to start,
A Mustard Seed from His Heart
To sow, to plant within the Good soil
To water, to shine upon Son-shine Life,
And allow the Grace of God to settle down
To Rest in stasis on our little seed’s journey.
The Mustard Seed, the smallest seed of all,
Yet a shoot punctures earth, Sky Crawl,
Through the years growth renews,
Over and over and over again,
New leaves, new shoots
For our Mustard Tree
Begins To Tower
Taller Taller
Ever Taller.
A Faith
Bent Toward
The Son.
A Faith
Ever grown
Never shaken
Continues
Upwards
Always Up
Upwards
Now the
Tallest One
Of them All.
So Tall, So Big
All Else Must
Rely Upon You,
Our Former Little
Mustard Seed.
So Step Out and Grow
Turn your Mustard Seed
Into a Tall Mustard Tree

Today’s ‘Thursday’s Treasure’ comes to us from Jessie Campbell, a fellow worker in the Kingdom of God to see His children come to know the Truth! In the process to publish some of the poems she has written down by Holy Spirit’s Presence.
She is in the process of preparing to go to Africa for ministry, so she has not added her poems to her website. Some pieces she has up can be found here.
